Sister Love

I figured out tonight what every girl needs in life....a housewife! Came home to a clean house and dinner all thanks to my sis. She even vacuumed dirt out of the dryer. Not sure why the dryer was full of sand, but that's for another time :-) Anyway, thanks Hannie, you are the BEST!

Impromptu date night!

Had a wonderful date night with my honey last night. We had no plans. He called hungry after work, and after a day of shopping,no way was I cooking. We went to a place that was new to us called Stonewood grill. Yummy wine, delicious steak, and chocolate bread pudding for dessert. All of that plus listing to J. crack himself up and getting to spend some time with him, well, it made me smile.
Come to think of it, my whole day was pretty fab. Started out with a pumpkin spice latte from starbucks on my way to meet for a day of Stash Dashing with Andrea, Martha, and baby Tommy. 7 quilt shops in 7 hours = fun! 2 more to come next week. After shopping, I came home and wrote my essay for my American lit class. Not fun, but it sure was nice to get it done. After that, wonderful date. Guess all of that is why I woke up (late) this morning with a big smile on my face.
